For this year’s Jill Stuart Fall 2014 RTW collection, Stuart described that the woman she designed for is "massively unpredictable and boyishly poetic—an irregular beauty." Although from the collection’s use of color, it seems that this season’s Jill Stuart woman is still very discerning. However, more variation came from the collection’s diverse silhouettes and fabric choices like wool, suede, cotton, velvet and a mix of animal furs.
As the New York Fashion Week runway show progressed, the looks showed off that they were not afraid to teeter on the edge of maximalism, with blingy embellishments covering the entire surfaces of dresses and tights.
