Runaway Whiskey Train Ads

This Commercial Creates a Fictional History for Jameson Whiskey

There's no stopping the hero's thirst in this Jameson Whiskey commercial.

Set in the 1800s in Ireland, a man sits calmly in a restaurant eating his breakfast as a runaway train goes barrelling through the town. He slowly rises and before you know it he's riding beside the train on his horse. Except, he's not going to save all the women on the train, his concern is the Jameson Whiskey. After quite a scene of acrobatics, he tries his best to stop the train but can't. He pulls the pin and lets the engine section fly over a cliff and into the water.

This commercial is completely fictional, however it purports to be the story of how the Prussion Incursion of 1807 was defeated.
