Tea company Itokyuehmon in the Kyoto Prefecture town of Uji in Japan is laughing a series of florally inspired sweets that pay homage to the blooms of a particular genus. The treat menu is inspired by hydrangea blooms and include the Ajisai Parfait, Ajisai Minazuki and the Matcha Parfait Ice Cream Bar Ajisai that's outfitted in a brand new form to celebrate the aforementioned flower. The treats feature such treats as the hydrangea-colored kanten crafted out of sweet agar gelatin, matcha cookies and much more.
The new hydrangea-themed treats from Itokyuehmon are being offered at select locations and come as an extension of the florally inspired cherry blossom treat season. This coincides with the early summer blooming season.
