Flight School Studio's 'Island Time VR' is a game that is set to launch later this year for the PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
The game stations players on an island following a shipwreck and challenges them to survive—fortunately, players have talking Carl the Crab as a companion. Far from being an idyllic experience, staying on the island requires staving off sharks and other dangerous creatures, all the while keeping tabs on one's hunger, crafting resources and watching the sky for overhead airplanes.
The full game is meant to be discovered with multiple playthroughs, with the virtual reality storytelling experience truly putting players in the shoes of a survivor who must be as resourceful as possible to stay alive and escape.
