It may not be confirmed yet whether or not George Orwell was a psychic, but his 'Big Brother' theory is dangerously accurate: U.S Senator Joe Lieberman has proposed an Internet 'Kill Switch' which will give 'absolute power' to President Obama and the White House to shut down the Internet if there is a security emergency online.
Known as the Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act (PCNAA), this bill, according to Huffington Post, requires that any search engines, software firms and broadband providers "immediately comply with any emergency measure or action developed."
