As the establishment is a present for the owner's wife, architect firm Le House incorporated some unconventional and curious design elements, making An’garden Café a destination where guests can enjoy "both coffee fragrances and picturesque surroundings."
Le House established a strong contrast between the industrial cafe interior and impromptu hanging plant pots that "conjure up a vision of a dreamlike hanging garden." The robust vegetation sharply stands out on the naked cement walls. The result is a highly sophisticated space that cleverly expresses itself through a loud design language and strong juxtaposing relationships of stylistic elements.
