Samuel Treindl doesn't need directions for his IKEA furniture! Instead of staying inside the lines, the German designer decided to cut the PS cabinets and create his own "furniture" instead.
Treindl showcases the cabinets with the holes in place from where he cut out his parts, where near or on top of each cabinet lies the newly functional object. From lamps to bowls, Treindl shows his crafty side as he turns IKEA furniture into an art piece. Even the holes on the cabinets are cut perfectly as this artist breaks the rules with perfection.
The designer shows us that even if all fails with the IKEA directions and things are looking rough, by using our creative minds, we might just make a masterpiece out of the mess.
