Eco-conscious drivers will soon be able to buy a Hyundai Tucson completely powered by sewage. While that sounds disgusting, it's an amazing way to preserve the environment, while also allowing Hyundai to market its product in a new way.
Hyundai is looking to hit on one of the biggest hot-button issues going on in the world right now: the environment. This Hyundai Tucson will only be available in California for now and will run on processed sewage from the Orange County Sanitation District.
The infrastructure surrounding the cars and the ability to pump them with hydrogen-filled fuel is still weak, but Hyundai is taking the dive anyway. With the technology to still use gas, but not have to abuse fossil fuels, this could be a new way to power vehicles.
