It took many years but the Hyundai i30 N is the brand's first car that's capable of truly being called a hot hatchback. The new four-door is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo engine making 247 horsepower in the entry-level i30 N and 271 horsepower when equipped with the optional Performance Pack. No matter what the engine's power output top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph.
When it comes to looks the Hyundai i30 N is either grown-up or subdued, depending on who you ask. Unlike other cars in its segment there are no massive attention-grabbing exterior bits. The cabin doesn't have any loud elements either but is still sleek and modern looking. The Hyundai i30 N will go on sale in Europe towards the later end of 2017. No details have been given regarding a U.S. launch.
