Hyundai Genesis Coupe Demonstrates Precision Driving for Super Bowl Commercial

Hyundai's ads for the Genesis Coupe aim to infuse some good, old-fashioned badass into the 2009 Super Bowl commercials. Impeccably talented pro driver Rhys Millen is filmed drifting around a track, a talent for which he is well known. The 306-hp rear-drive car is clearly capable of some serious drifting, and Millen whips the car out to the sounds of Billy Corgan and The Smashing Pumpkins.

The two Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2009 Super Bowl commercials are grouped under the theme 'The Epic Lap.' A second commercial features more precision driving, but takes place at the 12-turn racetrack at Road Atlanta in northeast Georgia, according to Motor Authority.

There is a promo page for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe spots. At the end of their 2009 Super Bowl commercials, the viewer is prompted to edit their own version of 'The Epic Lap.' You can check it out for yourself at the link below.
