Mythological Steam Rooms

The Huginn & Munnin Sauna Overlooks the Beatiful Italian Landscape

The model for the Huginn & Muninn sauna was inspired by Odin's two ravens from Norse Mythology. Designed by Duilio Forte and built by AtelierForte, the steam room is located in Piacenza, Italy, where it overlooks the beautiful countryside.

Continuing with AtelierForte's tradition, the sauna is handmade and built out of fir wood. Two people can sit inside the rustic spa and look outside through small portholes while enjoying the steam emanating from the wooden stove.

Resembling a wooden bird gazing out across the land, the Huginn & Muninn sauna is a rustically beautiful structure complementing the surrounding country. The contemporary design is perfectly situated atop a hill so that the inhabitants of the steam room can always enjoy the rising and setting of the sun.
