A headline writer at the Huffington Post got a little overzealous on Friday, saying that hundreds of states were shutting down government offices. Hmm…it’s been a while since I was in a U.S. history class, but I’m pretty sure the count stands at 50.
The headline was soon corrected, but screenshots keep virtual mistakes from being erased and forgotten. The title is right out of The Onion, and should give HuffPost contributors some ideas for an amusing April Fool’s next year.
