Mexico City-based photographer Jorge Hernanzes de la Garza captured the finished project of the recently built House on the Stone.
The home was built on a rocky lot in Mexico City, borrowing materials from the surrounding landscape. Comprised of a series of stacked boxes, this house rises three stories high, with a rugged and rustic exterior. The interior if filled with the same stone features, but the design team added a warm contrast with wood paneling. The rear of the home is a series of floor to ceiling windows, allowing for an indoor outdoor living feeling.
The large windows of the House on the Stone open up onto the landscaped garden and view of the 15 meter-high stone wall.
