The House in Macheon is located in South Korea, and is built in the middle of a mountainside. As such the surrounding views are stunning, so the owners wanted to ensure that they were able to enjoy this setting unobstructed.
As such the house is very quaint with one level and multiple windows that open up revealing the surroundings. Timber was the main material used for the building, again making the abode blend well with the naturalistic elements. Monks were even consulted on the construction to ensure that the house was one with nature, and that there was a clear balance between the materialistic substances and environment.
