At a recent Investors Day conference, Hostess Brands, Inc. executives discuss the launch of the new Hostess Bouncers.
The new Hostess Bouncers are described as a "poppable" take on some of the brand's most famous snacks, like its Twinkies. The new product is essentially a bite-sized snack cake that comes in three cream-filled versions: Twinkies, Ding Dongs, and Cinnamon Donettes. The idea behind the new launch is to target millennial consumers – specifically parents – looking for sweet snacks that are portable enough to enjoy on the go. As the brand's Vice President of Innovation and Growth, Tina Lambert, explains, "(Bouncers) goes after that lunchbox occasion, demonstrating again that we’re leveraging that occasion-based model to really look for incremental growth to bring new consumers into our franchise."
The new Hostess Bouncers are set to debut in large format stores in the summer of 2022, and smaller stores in the fall.
