This series of Hood by Air windows was created in collaboration between the brand and iconic department store Barneys New York. The sculptural mannequins were custom designed by Yuji Yoshimoto of Studio UG and features a total of six models inspired by the Spring Summer 2016 runway show.
In order to create the hyper-realistic custom mannequins, 3D body scans were taken of each of the models in order to create an initial mold. Tinted silicone was used to create flesh tones, while real hair was used to create the eyebrows and custom dentures and glass eyeballs were added for extreme life-likeness.
The looks of each of the six mannequins were completed with detailing such as wigs, custom mouthpieces created by Dolly Cohen and painted tattoos.
