Dog Haus, an American "craft casual" restaurant chain, has announced the launch of its newest menu item: the 'Honolulu Hot Chicken Sandwich,' which has been created in collaboration with ZEF BBQ. The limited-time sandwich borrows classic Hawaiian flavors and blends them with Texas BBQ-style chicken.
More specifically, the Honolulu Hot Chicken Sandwich features a large crispy chicken tender, sweet chili sauce, miso aioli, scallions, pickled carrots and onions, and wasabi furikake, all sandwiched between a premium King’s Hawaiian pretzel bun.
"Dog Haus and ZEF BBQ both love to bring guests not-so-traditional tastes, and the Honolulu Hot Chicken has a flavor profile that guests won’t even know they craved. We can’t wait to get this on the menu!" said Logan Sandoval, the Founder of ZEF BBQ.
