The world’s first amphibious ice cream van, the HMS Flake 99, has already made its maiden voyage and marked the begining of National Ice Cream Week that will end on 5 June, 2011.
This remarkable sailing soft serve truck is an unsual creation by Frederick's, a well-known company that makes delicious Cadbury’s ice cream. HMS Flake 99 has a top speed of five knots on water and features a chime that plays Rod Stewart’s ‘We are Sailing.’
