Anyone can make a calendar and if it’s for a good cause, there’s really no reason not to. But the ‘Historic Figures of Southampton’ calendar, which shows the scantily clad society women of Southampton, raises my eyebrow (if not yours).
The calendar, meant to raise funds for the repair of historic buildings in Southampton, is a collection of racy photos of the Southampton Historical Museum’s board members and volunteers. It is, surprisingly so, PG-rated, meaning no society body parts are shown—although the month of July has museum trustee Pam Jackson naked with a garden hedge covering her unmentionables.
