I love this this new piece from Philipe Starck called the Holly All Vase. The bronze coloured, multipurpose piece of art which can be used as a vase, seat or a sculpture.
Philippe Starck designed this object of beauty for Serralunga, crafting it out of polyethylene and steel.
The 200cm high piece costs £2,700.
Implications - All-in-one appliances, gadgets, fashion and art pieces are becoming a staple in many consumer's lives. The hybridization of everyday objects is now not only widely desired, but expected. This chair-vase is a great example of how to merge two simple objects into one space-saving, functional object. If you can hybridize your business, product or service, you're likely to have a competitive edge that others don't.
