Dutch designer Anouk Wipprecht created four pieces of high-tech fashion inspired by luxury vehicle technology that feature fully interactive elements.
Wipprecht, who labels herself as a 'fashion-tech' designer, combines artistic high fashion with elements of science, engineering and technological innovation. Her latest project combines several elements of the high-end Audi 'A4,' including 60 watt high-powered LED headlights, flashing ultrasonic parking sensors and finally the angular design of Audi's virtual cockpit technology.
Each high-tech fashion dress was also specially designed using 3D printing software. Every model's body was individually scanned beforehand to help ensure that each dress would fit their specific dimensions and measurements perfectly. The dresses were then printed out in plastic and their functional elements were then added to create truly one-of-a-kind outfits.
