In an effort to add a summery twist to its menu, Carl’s Jr. And Hardee’s recently debuted a tasty new chicken burger called the Hawaiian Charbroiled Chicken Sandwich. Featuring a juicy slice of pineapple and savory Teriyaki sauce, the new dish is perfect for the summer season.
The new Hawaiian Charbroiled Chicken Sandwich is an exclusive dish that originally appeared on Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s menus back in 2010 as the Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich. The new version of the sandwich is virtually the same, except that the chain's both now use 100 percent antibiotic-free chicken breast fillets to make the dish. The charbroiled chicken breast is then topped with a charbroiled pineapple slice, red onion, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, mayo and Teriyaki sauce, for a dish that is both sweet and savory.
