Gigantic Bagel Installations

The Hanna Liden 'Everything' Sculpture Features a Big Breakfast Dish

Swedish artist Hanna Liden has finally unveiled her latest work of art and it is a very big piece. An installation open to the public, Liden's most recent masterpiece is a colossal bagel sculpture.

Since making her mark on the New York art scene in the mid-2000s, Hanna Liden has provided all kinds of art pieces from color landscape photographs to oversized sculptures. Titled 'Everything,' Liden's latest piece of work features five bagels stacked atop one another with a black tulip placed at the very top.

The 'Everything' sculpture is 17 feet tall and is made of industrial Styrofoam as well as polyurethane. Liden reports that this sculpture pays homage to one of her earliest memories upon arriving in NYC: eating a bagel she purchased in the Meatpacking District.
