Surf's up with these stunning hand-crafted surfboards which feature embossed tattooed designs and a fire-burned effect. The personalized surfboards were created by Southern Australian brand Walker in collaboration with local artists Stephen Bowers and Quentin Gore. The boards are all made from solid paulownia wood, which is then laminated.
Walker have been creating and designing beautiful surfboards and furniture since 2007-- but we think these latest artist collaborations are real works of art. The boards are finished to a high quality and are sealed internally and have a fiberglass coating on the outside to make them 100% waterproof. Walker, created and owned by Peter Walker a senior Lecturer at the School of Art, Architecture and Design, University of South Australia, is influenced by the work of Tom Blake.
