Surreal Digital Eyewear Animations

'Catch' is a 1,000 Shot Hand Animation Using Google Glass

On a lazy Sunday morning, a group of animators and filmmakers in New York City, Tu Uthaisri, Namroc, Freddy Arenas, and Isam Prado created an incredibly surreal hand animation stop motion video called 'Catch: A Handimation through Glass.' Using over 1,000 shots and drawings, they shot this delightful video over four days only by using Google's computerized glass.

In an introduction to the short motion video, Google Glass says, "filmmakers have been telling us how they would use Glass for storytelling [...] there's a lot of directing, producing and exploring happening, and we're inspired."

This creative video showcases a man interacting with a red fish on his hand, and it then morphs into an underwater scene complete with sharks and octopus. Near the end of the video, the phone number from which the fish morphed, appears back on the man's hand.
