Baja Fresh Has a New Grilled Al Pastor Bowl for Summer

This summer, Baja Fresh is celebrating the classic Mexican dish al pastor with the debut of a new Grilled Al Pastor Bowl and two other fresh dishes.

For those unfamiliar, Al Pastor is a Mexican dish made with the marinade adobada. Tacos al pastor usually refers to pork, but Baja Fresh is putting its own spin on the dish by making three dishes that feature chicken or carnitas al pastor. The first is the Grilled Al Pastor Bowl, which features rice topped with al pastor seasoned chicken or carnitas, black or pinto beans, roasted veggies, sour cream, mixed cheese, cilantro, pickled onions, and grilled pineapple. There's also the Burrito Al Pastor, which features similar ingredients, plus hot or mild salsa and cotija cheese. Or, there's the new Al Pastor Taco Combo, which features two al pastor tacos in corn tortillas, plus a side of rice and black or pinto beans.
