This medium voltage addition to a grid control center, designed by Architekturbüro Steidl in Germany, was built in only five months due to the fact that it is constructed from wood.
The black building with large windows and bright yellow accents seems to resemble a bumble bee. The wooden elements were created beforehand instead of on-site, which cut down extensively on construction time. The grid control center features several solar panels outside and a panorama view on the inside of the building. The building, although somewhat lurid, is a further step towards positive eco-friendly urban planning practices and implementations that seek to benefit the environment.
