Australian deisgn firm Adam Kane Architects completes the Grey House, which is an all-grey home as the namesak describes. Found in the southeastern state of Vitoria, the home is coated in a surface of polished plaster. The Grey House is a holiday home for the founder of the studio, Adam Kane.
From the front of the home, it looks like a modern art gallery as it has a monolithic facade and a forest backdrop rests behind it. Kane shares, "The home excels in its purpose of a purist aesthetic without compromise on functionality. Everything is concealed and has a place," he continued. "Removing clutter and an abundance of colours, textures, and materials in combination with a soft polished plaster finish throughout brings an incredible sense of calm."
