British design studio Will Gamble Architects has completed the Flint Farm, which is a new extension to a farmhouse nestled in North Hertfordshire. It is defined by the glass lining which connects to the renovated black barn and it is named after the knapped flint plinth. The new site is a low-lying side that adds more space for a young and growing family.
Project architect Miles Kelset shares, "We were able to convince them of the underlying potential of the barn and to locate the new extension on the side of the property, replacing the 20th-century element, and creating a more meaningful link between the barn and main house to allow it become part of the primary living spaces of the home
