Amusing Model Morphs

Greg Kessler's Elza Luijendijk Shots Show the Before and After

Photographer Greg Kessler's 'Model Morphosis' feature in the New York Times' Women's Fashion section depicts a playful before and after glimpse at the Netherlands runway guru and IMG Models member Elza Luijendijk.

The online entry allows New York Times readers to flip back and forth between Luijendijk's natural and done up states. Kessler followed the transformation closely, documenting it as it unfolded at New York's highly anticipated Spring 2013 Fashion Week event.

Benefit makeup artist Maria Comparetto embellished Luijendijk's flawless skin with light blush powder, dark eyeshadow and clear lip lacquer. And while these changes were minimal, the most dramatic and arguable amusing shift came from Tony & Guy hairstylist Cos Sakkas who intricately slicked back the blonde beauty's straight tresses.
