Quiznos is on track to use greener fast food packaging in its 4,000 or so restaurants, thanks in part to the Disney-Pixar animated movie, 'Wall-E,' that tells the story of a robot designed to clean up a garbage-strewn Earth.
Quiznos' CEO Rick Schaden was inspired to enact a green change while watching 'Wall-E' with his kids; yet, it's not idealism that has the company making the shift, it's good business.
Employees will be wearing uniforms made of recycled pop bottles but the changes won't stop there. The company will also be using items made of compostable, renewable, and recycled materials.
