The Green Box by Act Romegialli is Overrun with Climbing Plants

The Green Box by Act Romegialli, an Italian architecture firm, looks like a house that has been left in neglect, something someone would stumble upon and dismiss as an abandoned structure. With foliage growing all over it, it is only natural to come to that conclusion. In reality, it was purposefully designed to accommodate such overwhelming greenery.

Once a small unused garage of a private residence in the Raethian Alps, the Green Box by Act Romegialli has been converted into a cozy home that bleeds into its natural environment. The exterior is made out of lightweight galvanized metal and steel wire to better support the climbing plants. Inside it boasts a space for gardening tools, a cooking area and a living space.
