McDonald's UK recently launched the 2016 version of its Great Tastes of the World promotion. While only available for a limited time, the new menu gives customers a chance to sample some tasty creations inspired by global cuisine at budget-friendly prices.
This year's Great Tastes of the World menu features dishes inspired by the food of South Africa, Switzerland, Mexico and Thailand. The South African Stack, the Swiss Stack and the Mexican Stack all feature two British and Irish beef patties alongside gourmet ingredients such as Beechwood smoked bacon, Emmental Cheese sauce and Habanero Chilli Mayo. For those looking for a lighter option, the Thai Special features a crispy chicken filet topped with Thai mayo, sweet chilli sauce, lettuce and red onion.
Set to launch at different times throughout October and November, the new menu allows customers to take a culinary trip around the world at their local McDonald's.
