IKEA's 75th Anniversary Collection Revisits Styles of Decades Past

In recognition of its 75th anniversary, IKEA released a limited-edition vintage collection by the name of 'GRATULERA' that offers a look back at six different decades of style. The first of the pieces will be launching in August, introducing furniture inspired by the 1950s and 1960s. Until the end of the year, IKEA will be rolling out additional styles, culminating with a nostalgic release in December that pays tribute to the 1990s and 2000s.

Each piece in the IKEA GRATULERA collection was hand-picked from the brand's archives and passionate fans of the brand will recognize that some of the vintage IKEA styles can occasionally be found in auctions and secondhand shops.

Some of the most charming pieces in the GRATULERA collection include a patterned pillow that references a 90s CD-ROM and the STRANDMON armchair, which is launching in an all-new color.
