Turkish-born designer Dilara Findikoglu releases her exceptionally expressive Gothic horror fashion collection for Spring/Summer 2019. Dubbed 'May the Darkness Light the Way,' the line-up highlights the creative's approach to style. Focusing on a slightly unsettling aesthetic, Dilara Findikoglu successfully communicates her fascination with the genre, as well as her "dramatic design sensibilities and rebellious nature."
The Gothic horror fashion capsule debuted in East London at Dennis Severs' house. In tune with the established ambiance of Dilara Findikoglu's Spring/Summer 2019 line-up, the rooms in the building were appropriately themed. Furthermore, the designer released a triad of short film-style ads that took on the narrative approach of cult-favorite horror movies like 'Paranormal Activity' or 'The Blair Witch Project.'
