Igor Kieryluk's Gotham 1459 Puts Batman's Universe in a Different Century

Igor Kieryluk was already on my radar for being the amazing illustrator that he is, but with his new Gotham 1459 project, I'm sure a horde of Batman fans will soon come to know his name.

As the name implies, Gotham 1459 is Kieryluk's re-imagining of the Batman universe as a medieval series. Look how badass Batman looks with his plated armor ready to lay an ass-whooping to criminals in the 1400s. I'm sure he'd have tons of steampunk-esque gadgets.

The Gotham 1459 project currently features only Batman and Selina Kyle, more popularly known as Catwoman. I can't wait until Kieryluk completes more illustrations and the likes of The Joker, Bane, Alfred, and -- heck -- even Robin join this amazing collection of medieval Batman artwork.
