Located in the heart of Perth, Australia, Nic Trimboli’s Gordon Street Garage is an Italian eatery that is housed inside a refurbished mechanic’s shop space.
"Inspired by the Mediterranean spirit, Nic looked to the garages in which many immigrant families from the Italian peninsula prepared their tomato sauce, dried their homemade pasta and stored their wine."
Gordon Street Garage coffee bar and kitchen is decorated with a range of hand-painted tiles, upholstered booth seating and warm woods. The eatery’s furnishings are showcased in a palette of predominantly blue and white hues.
The space also features industrial ceiling lamps and bench and table designs, made by Foolscap Studio and in collaboration with Justin Lamont of Life Space Journey.
