Autonomous Self-Driving Cars

Google's New Project Allows Cars to be Driven Without Human Help

The Google self-driving robot car is currently being tested, and it works! The technology allows the vehicle to be completely driven without human control. The test vehicles have already driven 140,000 miles with minimal human input (usually the drivers only interact with the vehicle if unexpected things happen like people running red lights, cars breaking very suddenly, etc).

While on the move the Google self-driving robot car is able to do anything that a human is capable of such as merging onto freeways, stopping at lights, and driving in city traffic...all with faster reaction times than humans are capable of.
