Google has released a new service that will allow people to track their medical records online. Google Health will track all your medical visits as well as track your tests results.
The password protected service will take the frustration and anxiety out of the wait for results like mononucleosis, to the more critical ones like HIV tests.
"One feature includes a link to help users find doctors by location or specialization," Reuteres says. "The 'virtual pillbox' notifies patients when they need to take medications and warns of potential drug interactions."
Some tech savvy doctors are already using the web more to prepare for patient exams, allowing them to fill out time-consuming forms and tedious questionnaires before the visit.
I have been waiting so long for something like this, but it looks like I'll have to wait a bit longer as so far, it's only been launched in the U.S.
