At the recent Made by Google 2024 event, the company introduced 'Made You Look,' a new feature designed specifically for parents looking to capture high-quality front-facing photos of their infants. This innovative feature will debut on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, scheduled for release next month. Designed for foldable devices, 'Made You Look' utilizes the phone's external front-facing display, enabling parents to easily frame and capture moments with their babies using the secondary screen.
In addition to the available characters at launch, Google plans to enhance the feature with licensed characters, starting with Joy, a beloved character from Pixar’s Inside Out, voiced by Amy Poehler.
"Turn the feature on, unfold the camera and an eye-catching visual — like a bright yellow chicken — will play on the outer screen," Google writes. "The visual will play on the outer screen and respond to hold their attention so you can get the shot."
