Golden Chocolate Bars

The Hershey's Gold Bar is Released 100 Days Before the Winter Olympics

After 18 months of development, Hershey's will be releasing its golden chocolate bar -- the first new bar to be added to the brand's inventory in over 22 years.

The bar, which boasts a luxurious colorway has made its debut at a variety of specialty events, such as New York's exclusive candy tasting conference, and Chicago's convenience store trade show, but the bar will make its official in-store debut on November 1st. The release date of the bar intentionally coincides with the winter Olympics, becoming available 100 days prior to the event.

The rich treat features a caramelized cream coating, and is stuffed with pretzels and peanuts, offering the consumer a unique flavor profile that differs from previous Hershey's experiences.
