This Beer Was Launched to Mark Celiac Awareness Month

A number of highly celebrated breweries in the Denver region banded together in order to brew a gluten-free beer in order to mark Celiac Awareness Month, a month-long series of events and engagements that takes place in May with the aim of advocating for the health, interests and awareness of individuals living with celiac disease.

The 'Mexidaily Mexican Lager' is a gluten-free beer that was crafted by using gluten-free millet in addition to malted yellow and blue corn, with the inclusion of noble hops rounding out its flavor profile. By combining a hint of sweetness with a highly effervescent texture, this gluten-free beer is well and truly a refreshing summer brew.

"Celiac Awareness Month is important to us because it affects many people in our community," said Karen Hertz, founder of Holidaily Brewing, one of the breweries that contributed to creating the beer. "Our beer is made with 100% gluten-free ingredients so even the most gluten-sensitive consumers can enjoy a delicious craft beer."
