The Nun Lamp is a design put together by creative Filip Gordon Frank that brings the metaphor of a glowing halo to life with an intricate metallic shade. The table light is built to look like a priestess folded over in prayer with the bulb providing a ring of light above. The decor piece takes its inspiration from mythical worship practices and recreates the experience using contemporary design.
The light has an elongated metallic frame done up in a matte black colorway. The design is stripped down and extremely minimal with a focus on angles and forms. This can be seen in the clean rectangular base, funnel lamp shade, subtle wood detailing and the hidden cords.
