The Glenlivet 1862 Whisky Watch has a unique bit of history inside of it. The stylish timepiece is a collaboration between luxury collection company Wealth Solutions and watchmaker Louis Moinet. What makes this watch special is that there's a drop of Old Vatted Glenlivet 1862 inside. This whisky is unique in that it is the oldest in the world. A battered but unopened bottle of the stuff recently sold at auction for $7,735.
The Glenlivet 1862 Whisky Watch will have a limited production run with only 50 pieces being produced. Forty of those will be made with steel cases and sell for $17,866 a pop while the rarer examples made with red gold (of which there will be 10) will go for $45,655. The Glenlivet 1862 Whisky Watch isn't the first time Wealth Solutions has infused a timepiece with aged alcohol. It previously put the world's oldest cognac and rum into a limited run of watches.
