Scotch whiskey brand GlenDronach has announced the launch of its latest premium offering, 'The GlenDronach Grandeur Batch 11.' The new expression has been aged for 28 years in rare Pedro Ximénez and oloroso Sherry casks and was hand-selected by master blender Rachel Barrie.
Adding to the whiskey's exclusive feel, each bottle of The GlenDronach Grandeur Batch 11 features a wax seal that has been individually numbered by hand. In terms of flavor, the whiskey conjures notes of manuka honey, Sherry, walnut, roasted almond, espresso, chocolate, and fine leather.
"It is intense and full-bodied, as is the signature of The GlenDronach, with a crescendo of black cherry and espresso adorning each mouthfeel," said Rachel Barrie, master blender.
