Aviointeriors Debuted the 'Glassafe' Shield Concept to Make Travel Safer

To help keep passengers safe while traveling, Aviointeriors — a producer of aircraft cabin interiors and passenger seats — recently debuted a new airplane seating concept called Glassafe. Glassafe was designed to fit on a variety of seating models, allowing airway lines to easily adapt to the shifting post-pandemic word.

Described as a "kit level solution," this new design can be installed on existing seats and offers more separation between passengers. Glassafe features a transparent material that surrounds the upper area of seat, ensuring that if neighbouring passengers cough or sneeze, the germs cannot as easily spread. In addition, the Glassafe does not disrupt communication as transparent glass still allows companions to see and talk with one another easily.
