Glamping is an experience designed for glamorous camping where guests sleep in tents complete with kitchens and bathrooms. The popular movement has made its way to South Korea in the city of Yang-Pyeong, where architecture and design studio ArchiWorkshop has been enlisted into creating tents that take the shape of doughnuts and worms that are set against the Korean woods.
There are two different tent structures for the site; the first is a worm like structure that has an elongated, stretched form while the other takes the shape of a doughnut like design that has a hollow circular structure. The skins of the glamping tents are double layered to stretch around the steel frames.
Inside the tents are custom designed sofa beds with a partition at the back that hide the toilets.
