Designer Markus Oder of 'Leanter' created a line of animal-mimicking lamps, which transforms lampshades into a giraffe's head. These lamps are made of wood and designed to sit atop a desk. The lamp's small size makes the animal motif an adorably suitable approach.
Using the the giraffe's legs as the lamp stand, the body and neck feature holes that are designed to represent the spots on a giraffe. The giraffe's head is made of a metal lamp shade, which has an uncanny resemblance to the head of a real creature.
Since the lampshade is at the top of the light, the wire that connects to the bulb weaves down the neck and spine using the holes to neatly weave and tuck away the cord. This series titled 'Giffy' contains various colored shades. Each lamp is about 45 centimeters high and 17 centimeters wide.
