To encourage a festive cheer for the holiday season, Ginza Maison Hermes has constructed a skating rink just outside of its store. Yet this is no ordinary skating rink. As though transported from a magical forest, it is one that is fit for fairy princesses and woodland nymphs. The 3×3 meter circular rink is enclosed in a rustic wood fence and surrounded by pines.
Open until Christmas day, the Ginza Maison Hermes skating rink goes hand in hand with free 30-minute ice skating lessons. According to Psfk, "Given the tight space, Hermès set up a lottery system to randomly [choose] a few lucky shoppers to skate." So people in the Tokyo area will want to sign as as soon as possible.
