Animation company Toonstar has teamed up with Sixth Wall, the digital division of actress Mila Kunis' Orchard Farm Productions, to launch 'Gimmicks,' a new NFT-based animated wrestling series.
'Gimmicks' follows a group of retired wrestlers who attempt to re-live their glory days in the ring. According to Toonstar, the series will utilize Solana NFTs to deliver a unique interactive storytelling experience that will follow a "choose your own adventure" format. In terms of tone and style, John Attanasio, the CEO of Toonstar, described the new series as "South Park meets WWE, but interactive and greasier."
'Gimmicks' will be Mila Kunis's second venture into the crypto space; last year, the actress used an NFT collection to crowdfund her own cartoon series called 'Stoner Cats.'
